hi,4th to 5th click is a common trait of the savage and absolutly nothing to worry about ,quite annoying though.i got into the habit of not using clutch when shifting to 5th it goes in smoothly and no click in between,cant explain it but it works on mine.i also downshift to 4th w/o clutch.try it.i also use mobil-1 20/50 motorcycle oil.USE Clutch in all other gears.ENJOY UR SAVAGE.
